Partner Trip Slow invites you to join them on a 5-hour nature tour in the beautiful Greater Sydney area of New South Wales. This guided nature tour, filled with wildlife tours and eco tours, offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Manly and its surrounding areas.
Your day begins with a scenic drive from your CBD hotel to Manly, where you will embark on a 2.5-hour nature exploration along the coastline. The walk, stretching from Shelley Beach to North Head and back, takes you through the North Head Reserve, an area known as Car-rang-gel by the local Gayemagal people.
As you walk, you will encounter beautiful ocean views, ancient rock formations, and unique flora and fauna. The tour guides will lead you in moments of silence, allowing you to soak in the sights and sounds of nature. Upon reaching Fairfax Lookout, you will be treated to a spectacular view of Sydney City and a talk about the area''s rich history and Aboriginal culture.
The return journey to Shelley Beach includes a visit to The Barracks and North Fort, where you will learn about their wartime use. The coastal track then leads you through the marine-protected Cabbage Tree Bay, culminating in breathtaking views of Shelley Beach.
For lunch, you will enjoy a gourmet grazing platter overlooking Shelley Beach or at Fairfax Lookout, with Sydney CBD in the distance. After lunch, you will return to your hotel by car, or, if you prefer, you can take the ferry back to Manly Wharf.
Trip Slow''s commitment to nature and sustainable tourism aligns perfectly with We Wander''s mission to bring our users closer to the world''s natural wonders. Join them on this outdoor tour and immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of Australia''s natural landscapes.
